These are preliminary release notes and are not yet complete.

Updated features:

  • Camera calibration and aberration correction.
  • Automatic hue detection.
  • Removed histogram
  • Improved visual presentation of diagnostic information
  • Fixed a bug with pausing/restarting the camera
  • Added scanning into the goal areas.
  • Windows proportions defualt to correct initial values.
  • GUI screens now display with the camera image on the left.
  • Camera drivers replaced with new SDK
  • New intensity compensation algorithm for improved detection into corners



Getting Started

There are only two issues that are different from the previous version that directly affect setup (other new features can safely be ignored):

  • The camera settings need to be setup correctly in the system.cfg file (see the sample system.cfg above. The RSE now supports different camera resolutions within the same exe from the config file
  • Selection of pitch corners has changed. From the setup menu select 'select pitch corners' then select the pitch corners (Top Left - left mouse button, Bottom Right - Right Mouse Button), then deselect the 'select pitch corners' option from the menu.
